Ruth Woldeselasie, a distinguished member of the Ethiopian royal family, is the founder of the brand URBAN ROOTS ECO , established with the mission of empowering disadvantaged Ethiopian artisans, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), Charities and other community initiatives.
She pursued her higher education in Fashion Design and Business Management at universities in London, further refining her skills and expanding her global perspective.
Her brand has since evolved into an international fashion and events enterprise,
now operating under the name
MOAANBESSA-DYNASTY—a title that reflects the legacy of the Ethiopian royal crown.
Previously, Ruth worked as International fashion model worldwide including representing prestigious fashion houses such as Jean Paul Gaultier and Moschino showrooms in Rome ,Italy .
Currently, Ruth is recognized as an eco-friendly fashion and textile designer, a global advocate for sustainable living, and an eco friendly & sustainable event organizer committed to promoting environmentally conscious practices & developments through fashion and culture across the World .
